Disappearance of Ali Younesi

Ali Younesi

Amid the chaos that followed the attack, the prison authorities began transferring detainees en masse to unknown locations. Among those who have disappeared is Ali Younesi, a gifted student and international gold medallist in the Science Olympiad. He was previously imprisoned on political charges and denied a fair trial. His sister, Aida Younesi, has publicly expressed her deep concern, stating that Ali was moved to an undisclosed location. The family has received no information about his condition or whereabouts. Their mother’s health has reportedly deteriorated as a result. Inmates protested against his disappearance by gathering in the prison yard and demanding answers.
