Iran 2026: documenting extrajudicial executions and mass graves under total internet blackout

1. The situation: atrocity in absolute darkness

Since January 10, 2026, with the complete shutdown of the internet, Iran has transformed into a massive digital prison. Behind this wall of silence, a full-scale human purge is underway. Based on the latest statistics received from our internal network, the scale of the crackdown exceeds all previous estimates:

  • Over 30,000 killed
  • Over 50,000 arrested and held in unknown conditions.

Field Reports: Burying the Wounded Alive What elevates this situation from a bloody crackdown to a horrific crime against humanity are documented reports regarding the treatment of bodies and the wounded. We have received 4 confirmed facts indicating that the regime is, in some cases, burying living individuals among the corpses:

The Isfahan Hospital Tragedy: Reports indicate that in the hospital morgue, bodies and barely alive wounded individuals were piled on top of each other. Eyewitnesses reported hearing moans and groans coming from the heap of bodies, yet security forces sealed and plumbed the morgue doors, denying any medical access to the wounded trapped inside.

The Kahrizak Incident: In another shocking case, a father searching for his son’s body at the Kahrizak detention center discovered a different boy alive inside a body bag among the corpses. The terrified young man revealed that he had remained silent and held his breath among the dead for hours, fearing that if he made a sound, officers would notice he was alive and fire a coup de grâce (kill shot) to his head.

These accounts represent only a fraction of the reality unfolding in Iran right now. Our goal is to rigorously document these crimes before the evidence is completely erased.

History’s alarm bell: from the 1988 genocide to 2026

We cannot say “we didn’t know.” History is repeating itself before our eyes, but this time with greater speed.

In the bloody summer of 1988, under a similar news blackout, the Iranian regime sent over 30,000 political prisoners to facing firing squads. The world remained silent then, and the cost of that silence was four decades of impunity for the criminals.

It was only in June 2024 that the international community, through the historic report of UN Special Rapporteur Javaid Rehman, officially recognized that massacre as a clear case of “Genocide” and crimes against humanity.Today, in 2026, we will not allow another 40 years to pass to prove the truth. The regime is counting on the world’s ignorance and inaction to complete a “second genocide.” We must disrupt this calculation.

Our mission (phase two): names are shields for lives

The experience of fighting totalitarian regimes has proven one principle: Anonymity is the prisoner’s assassin. When the name of a prisoner, an arrested protester, or an execution victim is revealed, the cost of the crime for the regime rises dramatically.

This project (which is our second operational phase in this uprising) is focused on a vital and high-risk goal: Penetrating the heart of darkness to extract the truth.

We intend to use our complex network of internal sources to identify the names of detainees before they are silently eliminated, document the locations of mass graves, and immediately place the case files of these crimes on the desks of international bodies.

Our commitment to you: transparency and partnership in saving lives

We know that financial support in such circumstances is an investment in humanity. For this reason, we do not just collect aid; we consider you partners in our operation.

We Pledge:

While the regime tries to keep everything hidden, we will be transparent with you. As a supporter of this project, you will be continuously informed of the impact of your contribution. We commit to notifying you as soon as we receive, verify, and confirm any new list of prisoner names or credible information about burial sites (while strictly adhering to security protocols to protect our sources’ lives).

These updates are not mere progress reports; they are living documents showing that your help is directly creating obstacles for the execution machine. You will see how your funds are transformed into information that saves human lives.

Why we need your help now?

In conditions of internet shutdown, intelligence operations are the most expensive and dangerous tasks possible. Your contributions will go precisely toward these vital needs:

  1. Technology to Bypass the Digital Blockade: Covering costs for satellite equipment and secure, expensive communication channels to contact sources inside the country.
  2. Field Research Network: Supporting brave teams who risk their lives seeking information around prisons and morgues.

Global Echo: Delivering this extracted information to the ears of the world’s media and diplomats.

Final call to action

The regime wants to kill in the dark; we want to shine a light.

In this moment when the people of Iran are deprived of the most basic right of communication, be their voice. Your financial donation is the fuel for our operation to save lives. And sharing our news on social media is breaking the barrier of censorship the regime has built.

Do not let history repeat itself. Act today.
