The report documents unprecedented state repression during recent nationwide protests, as well as civilian devastation resulting from United States military strikes.
Crimes Against Humanity by the Iranian Government
The Fact-Finding Mission concluded there are reasonable grounds to believe the Iranian regime committed Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit—including murder, arbitrary imprisonment, torture, and enforced disappearances—as part of a systematic attack on peaceful protesters.
- Massive Fatalities and Injuries: Security forces deployed lethal force across all 31 provinces. While official government records acknowledge 3,038 deaths and over 25,000 injuries, independent findings indicate the true casualty count is significantly higher.
