International Committee to Check Iran’s Abuses

Verein Welle | International Committee to Check Iran's Abuses

On November 25, 2022, a significant victory was achieved in the fight for justice and human rights: the formation of an international investigation committee to probe the crimes committed by the Iranian regime. This committee, established by the United Nations, aims to investigate the numerous reports of human rights violations in Iran and hold those responsible accountable.

This success is the result of years of efforts by human rights organizations and activists pushing for an independent and impartial investigation into the crimes of the Mullah regime. The investigation committee will focus on the systematic human rights abuses, including arrests, torture, and executions, that occurred during protests and unrest in Iran.

We are deeply grateful to the international communities and human rights organizations that made this crucial step possible.
